THE BOX

FreeBOM2

As a follow up to my previous post (An Unexpected Miracle),

regarding the box I left in the park, which read, “Free Book of Mormon! Take One!”….

Yesterday before church I went to see if anyone had taken a book and…..

YES!  Someone took one!

I went to church happy, and was even happier when….

I saw a man, wearing jeans and carrying a paper back copy of the Book of Mormon, walk into our sacrament meeting.

Was he my “taker”?

Probably not.

But, he was someone’s “taker”!

THE HAT

The hat I had ordered, has come in.

Do you know what that means?

I should probably put it on my head….

and go out!

In public!

What will that be like?

Ahhh!

Nervous?

Yep!

Excited?

Kind of !

“Stay tuned” for the “Reactions to….THE HAT” post!

INVITATION #1

open house church2

This also just came in the mail (They are easy to create online.)

This I am EAGER to use!

The recent “Hastening the Work of Salvation” broadcast mentioned that church buildings will soon be open during the days for open house tours, hosted by the full-time missionaries.

I’m ready when they are!

INVITATION #2

invitation church

I thought giving someone a nice invitation, with an envelope, would be a good way to invite someone to church. (Again, very easy to create online.)

I can’t wait to use it!

Maybe someone will take the time to really consider my invitation, if I give them a “formal” one, in writing.

We will see?

I will be thinking of my plan of action to use these last 3 items during the week while at girls’ camp.

I will post again upon my return.

The Lord has declared that missionary work is the responsibility of all who follow Him (seeMatthew 28:19–20D&C 88:81).

Our greatest and most important duty is to preach the gospel.
